Summary:
The Senior Consultant role requires expertise in key functional areas, including financials, cost accounting, MRP, planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology. Specialized experience in discrete manufacturing consulting, specifically with CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine), is essential.
Primary Goals:
The Senior Consultant will deliver billable business consulting and training services to clients utilizing the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system. Depending on their expertise, the consultant may also provide additional consulting services, such as business process re-engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and implement project plans
- Engage in on-site client interactions
- Develop deliverable documentation for clients
- Provide end-user training
- Analyze and propose solutions for complex tactical-level problems
- Conduct manufacturing business process analysis and modeling
- Develop and execute test plans
- Offer internal and external status reporting
Requirements and Skillset:
- Proficiency in SyteLine 8 or 9; SyteLine 6 or older is recommended
- 25 to 50% domestic travel; occasional international travel may be required
- Exceptional analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking for globally optimized solutions across all client organization areas
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Effective communication with various organizational segments, providing recommendations based on best practices

- Computer proficiency: MS Project, Excel, Access & Oracle/SQL (beginner level), general MS navigation
- Insight into both business and technological aspects of Supply Chain processes (forecasting, planning, and scheduling)

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an analytical field (MIS, math, operations research, engineering, logistics, or science)
- 3+ years of SyteLine product experience with analytical skills in manufacturing and distribution environments
- 5+ years of experience in client industries served by Infor in areas related to forecasting, scheduling, planning, logistics, and manufacturing
- APICS Certified (CPIM) recommended
- In-depth knowledge of finite scheduling, simulation, or solver-based optimization required
- Experience in implementing forecasting, planning, and scheduling software.
