1st United Door Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician IV to join their dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician IV, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, possess strong technical skills, and be committed to safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Understand and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems associated with production equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Support and adhere to safety programs and protocols. Conduct safety trainings and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts. Ensure forklifts are in optimal working condition.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting at least 50lbs. over the head. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance and repair work.
  • Work Orders: Review work orders and complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.
  • Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that necessary parts and equipment are ordered in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Training: Assist in training other maintenance employees on equipment maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on electrical, technical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Forklift trained with the ability to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to conduct safety trainings.
